In the present market and given that I had a desirable property, some friends suggested that I sell by-owner. I am SO glad I made that decision. Not only did Lisa guide me through a maze of paperwork, she recommended a listing price that was much higher than I ever would have considered. We had an offer in about 24 hours, the buyer accepted my counter offer very quickly, and the appraisal indicated that the price was appropriate. In the end, after commissions and closing costs and taxes, my closing check was far higher than I might have received if I taken the no-broker advice, thanks to Lisa's knowledge of the market and her expertise.
